Would you recommend this monitor for web development and programming?
With the monitor on the lowest height what is the total height of the monitor?
Does this monitor (the 32in specifically) rotate fully into a vertical/portrait orientation? The images make it seem able, but I can't tell for sure.
I have this hooked up to my Xbox series x. What is the best way to get volume? I also have usb blue too headset and can’t get volume to that either

I couldn't believe what i was looking at with 1440p 120 fps!

After figuring some settings out. I'd say 1440 at 120fps on this monitor compares to, if not better than a lot a 4k 60fps tv'sI probably like a lot of others. Was a little sceptical at first. But after playing Doom eternal, Halo infinite, Gears 5 on this with the Series X at 1440 at 120 fps i wouldn't trade it for a big ass run of the mil 4K tv. There are some Pros and Cons.HDR looks good on games that support HDR if you can opt for 120 fps then yes that route instead.HDR with dark movies is to dark.Light bleed threw is only apparent during dark movies especially wide aspect films. The corners are visibly bleeding light. But the image HDR can produce is worth it with more well lit movies. Some games at 120fps at 1440 look bad. Like grainy and over contrasted. These games sometimes support hdr like battlefield 1 looks better in hdr.Haven't done a lot of super dark hdr gaming yet like Resident Evil but i can assume like movies the hdr would be to dark? Idk but this tv's peak brightness is around 450 nits. Which for VA panel is AWESOME because it's contrast is also exceptional considering the price. But for hdr to shine you need about 800 nitsAs far as gaming goes. Virtually no light bleed is noticable. Even in dark scenes. The next best thing to this is cheaper model gaming 55 inch tv, with vvr 120hrz and a decent peak brightness. Looking to spend 7-800 dollars though. For the price of 340$ it's value for it's quality can't be matched. It's a well built monitor. Controls are easy to figure out. It's Curve has literally changed my perception of game emersion. If your looking for this for the PS5 your not going to get 1440 resolutionPs5 doesn't support it. You'll get a downscaled 4k into hdr 60fps or 1080 at 120fps. I'm sure it will still look good just not 2k good.Just do it before you end up with a crappier choice. This was well worth the money

Great image quality and speed at a great price!

I was between this model and two MSI models. I use Gigabyte Video cards, Laptops, and motherboards but I wasn't aware they made monitors until a couple of years ago. I took a shot on this based on online reviews. I have to say, I am not only not disappointed, but I am blown away.Great picture quality, speedy performance at 165hz, a great OSD that allows for tweaking things to your personal liking, and great aesthetics make this a real winner with plenty of hidden value. The screen itself is well made and sturdy, and this monitor uses an LG panel, so you know the quality is there. The colors are sharp and well-rendered, the speed and clarity is phenomenal and the inputs are all neatly concealed underneath the bottom of the monitor. The out of box experience was excellent. I put the stand on the back of the unit, attached the base, and plugged it in. It worked perfectly and Windows immediately found the Monitor and adjusted my resolution to 2560x1440. Even better, with a few clicks from within my Nvidia settings app, I was able to use G-Sync.The text is sharp and clear, but the real star of the show is in the gaming performance. I came from a 12-year-old Gateway 1900x1200 @60hz monitor. This monitor is such an improvement from what I was used to, it was like being blind for years and being granted sight. It's that good and that big an improvement from 60hz. The speed, lack of tearing, and overall crispness of the monitor are light years beyond 60hz.All good by me and I am happy I went with Gigabyte. This is a great product!

Good for older gamers.

I rarely write reviews, but I thought I'd do one for this monitor from an different perspective, just in case someone else is in my boat. This is a review for the G32QC A model. I used to play a lot of twitch FPS games (Quake engine based) at a higher level. However, since turning 40 finding a solution to near field vision loss has been challenging. My eyes don't focus as well as they used to, and I'm on the way to reading glasses like everyone else at this age. I wanted to buy a good monitor because I missed the high refresh CRTs of yore. I tried 27" QHD screens but even at 125% magnification the text was too tiny. I would've had to go up to 150% which makes the monitor functionally smaller than a 1080p screen. 32" seems to be a happy medium. You get a higher PPI than a 1080p monitor (less jaggy looking fonts) and a functional resolution of 2052 pixels wide at 32" if you set it to 125% magnification. So, it's essentially like a giant 1080p monitor without the obvious downsides of the looking horrible.I feel like the G32C A is the best bang for your buck 32" monitor at the moment. The colors are good, it's quick for a VA panel (I was dreading have to go with a VA panel because of previous monitors I had with smearing problems). Also, it's bright enough that HDR actually works. I got mine for $279 and I feel like I got a good deal. Some things to note: I can't get mine to do more than 120hz with HDR and Freesync enabled in Windows. I have an older graphics card (R9 380X) so that might be it. Honestly, 120hz is fast enough for most stuff I do. Most monitors in this price range *don't* support Freesync and HDR at the same time, so the Freesync Premium Pro is a big selling point. It does 165hz in Linux just fine.TlDR: Buy it if you want a fast VA panel with working HDR for a good price in the 32" format.

Everything you need to know

Had this monitor for more than a year now and I really love it.Reason I gave it a 4 stars (more like 4.5) was it doesn't have build in speakers which for the price it should have it.Sometimes the Hz aren't accurateI do love the colors and looks amazing on 4kI shipped my monitor to another state and it cracked so the right side is black but it still works!
