Thank you Carl! This is one beautiful piece of craftsmanship. It fits my RAT-5 like a glove. I love that it can be adjusted to left or right side carry or vertical or horizontal. The leather is heavy duty but still flexible (NOT all dry and crunchy). I have already ordered a cross draw sheath from Carl for my RAT-3 can’t wait to get it. Great knife!After researching many “survival knives “, I chose the RAT 5. The blade in thinner than the ESEE 5 and much lighter, easier to sharpen. Great steel (1095 high carbon)...holds an edge and sharpens easier than stainless. Very satisfied with product!

It's good. Knife rattles inside the sheath and you need the lock to secure it. Looks like the sheath can fit to alot of knives. Also I wish the end of it was rounded off to get rid of that excess leather. Overall it feels like good craftmanship, but I'm gonna look for a rounded end

You cannot ask for better quality in a sheath. Carl even includes a personal note for any problem I might have (most likely never will because of how quality it is) but it just reinforces my purchase that much more knowing it was made with heart by someone who knows what they're doing. Well worth the money!!
