Works like it's supposed to, right out of the box. I have mine set to switch on with movement. The light remains on for about 10 seconds before shutting off again. It's a very bright light, and seems to stay charged all night long. Only time will tell how long it lasts - and if it can survive a rainstorm. Mine hasn't been put to the thunderstorm test yet!

This item arrived on time , properly packaged and in the condition ordered. The instructions are easy to understand and set up is a breeze. I use this product to illuminate a dark area on my patio where my grill is and it was the right choice for me. Truly helps with evening and night time grilling.

I love this light. Why did I not have this year's ago!! This light illuminates the steps on my outdoor patio. A motion sensitive light really is an excellent safety device. The light remains on for the time to pass by. It recharges in the sun- no wiring or energy expense. It is light enough-we were able to mount this light with outdoor Velcro. Get one. You'll love it too.

nice and bright. Have had a number of cloudy days with low sunlight. The light still works great when darkness comes. The motion detector is great, comes on when you are within 10-15' from front or sides.

Hey everyone,I have used wireless security lighting for years simply because paying a small amount for battery powered motion sensing lighting is so much more cost effective than wiring lighting. However, the quality of this battery technology has suffered in the last few years to where the lights would decide they needed keep going on and off, on and off, until the batteries are dead: requiring replacing the lights! Not so good!So I had stopped even doing this, until I had a need for a motion sensing area light and I searched again. I found these lights, which solve the needing to replace the batteries, and these lights actually have 3 programs and the lights include dusk to dawn, so you could have the lights act like garden lights if you so desire! The area I need lighting in does have light but low light and charging has not been a problem in the summer.Now, I do not know if these lights will suffer from the infinite recycling problem (too soon to say). I do not know how the charging will go when the winter comes and the sunlight angle is reduced. I do know that they are providing a solution to our problem, that I have gone ahead and ordered more to replace the failed battery powered products, that installation is a snap with the provided drill guide, and that programming the units is as simple as opening the battery cover, and moving a switch. And I can say that all the modes have worked.I recommend this product, and I think the company is brilliant for offering it. They seem to have done their market research quite well!

It does a good job for a good price. Like that you can change settings, I prefer to only have come on for a short period.Great direct lighting for a smaller area - did not want one that went out to far to sides to bother my neighbors. Perfect for our needs.I have it in area that is not protected from elements and so far it is weatherproof.

These are the brightest solar powered LED lights I have ever seen!. It really lights up the back yard. nicely. I also located one in a dark spot near my trash pails for extra visibility at night and it works great. I will certainly purchased more of these for additional applications.

Great product! Does exactly what it says it does. I like that you can choose from having the light on all the time, having it get brighter when it detects motion, and having it off until it detects motion. It is a SUPER bright light. The only thing that bugs me is that the switch to turn the light on and switch modes is hidden in the battery compartment requiring you to take it down and unscrew that compartment to change modes but I suspect most people would just pick one mode and stick with it. HINT: The batteries do NOT charge while the switch is in the OFF position.
