Highly recommend
I've had this bike for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. I take it through town on paved roads as well as on unpaved trails. It came very well packaged and was super east to put together. I love this bike because it takes me places I wouldn't normally go on a regular basis because of hills, but power assist kicks in at just the right time, making the ride as easy or as challenging as I want. I would highly recommend this bike, as it is well made, reasonably priced, and customer service is top notch!

Love this bike
I absolutely love this E bike from Paselec. I did a lot of research before purchasing and this has exceeded my expectations for being a great all-terrain E bike at a very reasonable price.

Pretty good for a first time electric bike.
I was a bit worried about getting an electric bike, I had tried electric bikes and scooters many years ago and they were usually very underpowered. This one though has no problem with picking up speed. Even on very steep hills it may slow down but it can keep going. A few small complaints I have are with the instructions, the display, and some of the parts quality when it arrived. First, the instructions consistent of a long line of text or a quick 60 second or so video online. You also need to know the model of the bike to find the right video, as I couldn't find the link on the store page. The instructions skip over the proper way to install the handlebars, as they were detached when it arrived. This is important as it's very easy to put it on wrong and possibly damage the electrical and brake wires around it. Also the instructions didn't mention anything about the front wheel brake and troubleshooting it. I'm not used to the brake being at the wheel hub instead of on the rim of the wheel. It was a bit too tight and I had to loosen the brake pad so the wheel could spin freely. Unfortunately, and this is my complaint for the parts quality, someone at the factory had stripped the hex head screw when installing the brake caliper. Fortunately I could loosen the other side and it worked, but if I ever need to repair the brakes I'll probably have to replace the entire caliper on the front now. Finally the display is a little... inconsistent when going up any kind of slope. The battery gauge will quickly go down when the motor is consistently used going up a hill. This can be a bit shocking at first, and then confusing when it jumps back up to full when going down hill. So I can't rely on the gauge to really give me an accurate battery rating, I just have to guess at how full or empty it is while riding.Other than those issues the bike rides well and pretty smooth. Seat isn't too bad, brakes are a little weak to slow you down but you could probably fix that, just don't come up to a stop too fast on it. The Assisted pedaling is also a little confusing. Essentially from what I could figure out the five levels indicate a minimum speed the bike will try to maintain, whether you are pedaling or not. This was a little bit of a surprise when I was trying to stop on PAS 1 but the bike suddenly started accelerating on its own. Higher numbers on the Assist level seem to mean the bike maintains a higher speed, with level 3 seeming to be about 15-17 mph.I got this to replace needing a car for transportation, and it definitely works.

Great so far
I don't usually write reviews unless it is deserving, positive or negative. So far this is a good E-Bike. We bought two of them one the wife and one for me. The value is fairly priced compared the the local E-Bike dealer that sells them starting at $2,999. The assembly was fairly straight forward, it took about 30 minutes each.Right after assembly we took them out on a 10 mile ride on pavement and off road. The bikes handled well on pavement and did pretty well off road, I even took some 10"-15" jumps and the rear suspension did rather well. That's all I could handle at this time, as I am 65 y/o but still think I'm 25. You will have to adjust the brake levers, gear shifter and the throttle lever to the position of your liking, after you take it out for your first test ride and get a feel for their positions. Easy to do with a common metric allen-wrench set.The Gears work well with no issues so far. The PAS really helps out with the pedaling, it takes about 2 revolutions of the pedals and then you feel it kick in, or you can just use the throttle paddle. It is an odd feeling at first but after a few trips it just feels kind of natural. I have had my bike in 9th gear, PAS-5 and pedaling like heck and have reached/sustained 27 mph on flat ground, which seems pretty fast on a bike. My wife loves her bike she uses pedal power more than I, but really enjoys the return trip using the PAS when she gets tired. We like that the battery slide into the frame. It give the bike a clean look. But it does make it a little hard to remove or insert. But it is not that difficult. We don't really like the ones that are on the outside, they are sort of an eye sore.Overall this is a good E-Bike so far for the first 175miles,Pro's: +Fairly easy to assemble.+ Good Value+ Seems to be fairly sturdy++ battery is mounted inside the frame and removeable.++ Hydraulic disc brakes++ Battery lasts at least 20 miles++ PAS works great+ Descent front light+ Tires are OK for our riding styleCon's: Battery is a little awkward to remove, but understandable being it's in the frame- No rear wired light- Two identical bikes, two different tire brands ???- Could have came with Slime Inner Tubes-- Instrument Display very hard to see in sun light-- Could have came with some cheap plastic fender to prevent upward debris splatter.- Company could offer accessories i.e. rear rack that actually attach to the rear frame not the seat post.
