Q: Can this be used on the countertop to prevent cutting boards from slipping around?

I tried it on my stone countertop, and there WAS slipping. However, I use remnants as “coasters” for iced drinks to prevent water rings. That works quite well.

Q: Can this be used in the freezer?

Yes , I use mine on and in a toolbox that’s located in a invested garage . I’m in northern IL which gets plenty cold temperature wise . Often colder than the inside Of a freezer and the liner remains flexible and keeps items from sliding . It works ok for my needs. I’m sore should be ok for a freezer liner .
