The media could not be loaded. I wasn't too sure how effective this book would be on my 2 year old boy, but I've been wanting to emphasize concepts like sharing, helping, and community, especially as he begins going to daycare, and has a new baby brother.It turns out, however, that he LOVES this book, and has requested it over and over again for the last couple of weeks!I think the sentences and concepts are simple enough for him to understand and emulate. He understands taking turns in relation to the playground, helping clean up when someone spills (he loves to get the towel), feeding the cat, sings his ABCs (well, he knows the tune, anyway) when we land on the page of kids painting the welcome sign, he helps his brother take a bath, and on the final page, wishing good things for all the world, he'll list all the people that make up his family!The best part is that, unlike some of his other books, this one is NOT annoying for me to read over and over. =)

This book was recommended for my Friendzy Unit and my PreK classes loved it

The title was perfect for the bi-racial couple I gifted the book too. I read it more than once. The story is beautiful.
