COOLAMineral Face SPF 30 Rōsilliance (Cream Light/Medium)

I love the Coola brand but the BB cream did not work well for me. It has a greasy look after it’s applied and gives no coverage at all. I also experienced breakouts each time I’ve used this which never happens to my skin.

I usually love this product and have used it for years. My most recent order though, something is… off. The coverage and moisture are similar to what I’ve experienced, but the smell is off-putting. It usually has a pleasant rosy smell, but this last batch smells like latex paint! It fades after awhile, but I still don’t care for it.

Tried this new rosier shade. Was happy to see they came out with something new, that , like the Light, is not too yellow, like the 2 darker shades. Don't mind the new (still wish they'd come up with one that is a cool medium , not yellow), but it is still really fair. OK for winter, but too light for summer. Main issue with the new shade is the consistency. The bottle I received is thinner, runnier and oiler than the Light one. Appears they changed more than the tint. Returning it, as it doesn't work as well for sun protection and is just too thin and oily. Bummer. Maybe they should add zinc and up the SPF...

Everything about this tinted moisturizer was amazing. It’s super moisturizing, absorbs nicely, has a pretty sheen to it, and evens/blurs my acne scars. Unfortunately, the lightest color option is still too tan for my skin tone. If you’re naturally more on the tan side, then the lightest shade will work for you. You can see in the photo the color change on my chest. My face/neck is the same color as my chest, so I didn’t feel comfortable wearing this in public.

I find most makeup with sunscreen to be oily or it never settles right on my skin - it stays wet or gooey. In the heat, I'd like just a hint of color on my face, but it never seemed that actual foundation would sit well over top of sunscreen. This cream is the perfect mix of protection and foundation!!! I feel like there is nothing on my face at all and yet I'm protected from the sun and also have some color coverage! I've replaced my normal foundation with this cream - I love it that much! I'm looking forward to hitting the beach this summer!!
