Q: The hook end of these, are they more like Susan Bates ends, or Boye? I prefer SB as the Boye ends are too sharp.

More like Susan bates definitely… prior to buying these (LOVE THEM) I only used Susan bates …hate boyes hooks (garbage).. clover amours are #1..BEST EVER …you won’t regret buying these ever….

Q: Is there a major difference between this set & the Clover Takumi set? Other than the extra hooks & a fully cushioned handle

The Amour's handle is not as flat as the Takumi's, which may make a difference depending on how you hold your hook. The Amour is supposedly designed for both grip types, while the Takumi is slightly more comfortable with the pencil grip. Both are more comfortable and less fatiguing than a standard (non-coated handle) hook.

Q: Will these Amour hooks protect the middle finger 2nd joint from getting sore due to the hook rubbing across it? (pencil hold)

I use the Pencil hold and have no rubbing? Not sure what you mean by rubbing. I love these hooks they are the best and most comfortable I have used, they are the only hooks I use now and for the past 6 years, both the hook and the handles are great, they don't drop stitches like Boye hooks. They are the perfect combination of Boye and Susan Bates styles.

Q: Do these Clover Armour Hooks come with a company guarantee?

I checked the packaging when I got home and no, there is no mention of any guarantee at all. These hooks do not come with any guarantee.

Love my Clover Amour crochet hooks, very gently on my wrist. Had been having wrist pain on and off for very long, but not anymore. I can crochet for long houra without pain. Will be buying another set soon.
