Don't give up if it "doesn't work" instantly.
Was worried it wasn't working initially, as the red charging light was very faint and blinking. However, after a while (hour?) the light went solid red and began charging, eventually going green. I think the Hoverboard was just THAT dead, and the charger seems to be working great - and my daughter is riding the board. :)

I do not recommend
Did not charge hoverboard. Hoverboard only came on when you had it plugged into the wall. I would not recommend this product.

Good replacement for our lost cord
My child lost there charging cord for their hover board and this was just what we needed to replace it. The cord length is good and we have not experienced a high heat level with the device.
