I tried some small scissors that supposedly are designed to clip nails, but they don't work well on nails that are more difficult, like some of mine. These clippers work great, so long as your nails are wet from a shower. But be careful! They're very sharp, and you wouldn't want to cut anything other than the nail. Also, if you clip quickly, they tend to fling the clipping off onto the floor. Clip slowly and carefully and aim for a garbage pail.

My toe nails were gross and I could nor get a clipper with a wide enough opening--until now. Very good purchase.
