Good to have handy as Thermostat fails frequently.
Fits My GE Arctica model and I'm a frequent buyer. The thermostat goes bad every 2 to 3 years and I usually stock on these kits.

Easy and affordable repair
This was a breeze for me to replace. I wasn't sure exactly which of the 3 pieces I needed so I chose to buy the combo to cover all of my basis.

Kit solved the defrost issue
Originally just replaced the defrost limit switch since IME that's the typical failure part. But after the freezer iced over again I figured best to just gt the whole kit. Sure enough it was the thermistor that was faulty. Original was only had a resistance of 3-4KΩ in ice water. Defrost was never turning on because mainboard was being told the evaporator coils were already too hot. New one tested correctly at ~16kΩ at freezing (~6kΩ at ambient) which is correct specs. Original heater was pretty black but otherwise still working, replacement measured ~20Ω, same as OEM. Based on other reviews don't have much faith in it's longevity but saving the original as a backup. Even if the heater fails early, kit is still worth it for the other parts.

Work on my GE Refrigerator
It works on my GE refrigerator. My refrigerator is not cooling, and ice is built up in the back panel of the freezer. Easy to install. It took me around 30 minutes for the replacement. I didn't install the temperature sensor and the thermostat, but I love to have them for back up or future needs.

Didn't even last a year! :(
I bought this item on August 31, 2022 and installed it the first week of September. Well, it's only half way through May 17th, 2023. So a little over 8 months of use and it's dead. Personally, when I got it...it looked pretty cheap. Now, I have to get a new one. The fridge was bought in 2009...so the OEM one lasted 14 years. So not a very good replacement. I would look for a better supplier with a more beefy looking part, like I am going to do now. Find the one on Amazon that says "lifetime" warranty. You've been warned. Lol.

Replacement good price
This product fits this refrigerator.Unfortunately, needed to buy several. The heat element in the defroster burns out from 1-2 years because of moisture buildup in the unit. Manufacture defect. But it's reasonable even if it burns out. Watch a video on You tube to learn how to replace it. It beats buying a new refrigerator.
