ILNP Mountain View - Forest Green Holographic Nail Polish

my new obession
I cannot RAVE about this polish or this company enough! I ended up here because I was having so much trouble finding a "jelly" sheer-like polish that wasn't a gel polish, because I really wanted that 90's vibe where everything was made out of plastic with glitter in it!! I ordered 4 different polishes, and they came so beautifully packaged (it's the little details, okay). I love that this smaller company is from Las Vegas (Go Raiders!) and hand-makes each of their formulas, the attention to detail is very prominent! **THE POLISH (Jello Shot): this is the EXACT look I was going for! It looks slightly more red online (though the description listed is spot-on). It's a beautiful strawberry lollipop pinky-red. It's also buildable - which is perfect for the "jelly" look I wanted (1 coat + clear top coat), and two coats gives absolute full coverage. The holo in this polish is insane, and the formula is the perfect consistency - not too thick or thin. I never write reviews, but I am over the moon! I will absolutely be buying more from this company.

The color depends on the number of layers as well as the light source.
This is the time of year when people start looking for a suitably dramatic shade of nail polish. The ILNP holographic effects are great, and unlike glitter, holographic flecks don't sink down on to the nail and stick when the polish is removed. The whole polish is easy to remove even using very gentle methods such as Karma wipe clean nail polish remover pads. It just takes some rubbing due to the multiple layers I use in addition to base and ridge filler, etc. One thing that should be mentioned is that this is not a true black. With two or three light coats of polish (I have pale skin and very pale nailbeds, BTW) it is a greyish black with a lot of sparkle. It appears a bit more bluish black under some lighting conditions, but there's still a lot of sparkle. For comparison purposes, I used a ILNP color called, "Walking Home" on my other hand. Oddly enough, under some lighting conditions they appear almost identical, but under most lights the former has a background of greyish black, while the latter color has a beautiful twilight blue background with a hint of purple. I suspect a black with red chrome effects that ILNP offers may be closer to a true black, but I haven't tried it yet. I may also try a plain true black called "Raven" and add a coat of ILNP's "Scattered Rainbow" (?) for a holographic effect. I'd also suggest applying a coat of Sally Hanson's Big Qwik Dry or something similar as a top coat for added gloss and sealing. I forget the exact name of the sheer holographic effects product, as they have at least three varieties. Hope this review helps. Happy Halloween!

Impressed
You’ll see the glittery shimmer outside in the sunlight. Very subtle. Goes on well and dries in a fair amount of time. I applied 2 coats, waited about an hour to apply a clear top coat and nails were dry completely about an hour after that. I’ve had the color on about 5 days now and it’s held up pretty well. I don’t wear gloves around the house so I can be a little rough with my hands and this polish has held up without chipping or fading. Will purchase again.

Love ILNP!
I love ILNP brand polishes! I came across them recently while I was looking for something “special” without having to add anything to make them special.I absolutely love the holographic characteristics, especially in the sun. They POP with colors. The saturation of color is fantastic, and the multitude of color sparkles when you look deep into the polish, especially in the sunlight, is explosive! These polishes are long-lasting, too. I easily get two weeks out of a manicure using ILNP, and if it weren’t for growth, I have no doubt these polished would hold up even longer! There is such a variety of colors available, that I haven’t used the same color more than once so far. They are a bit pricey, but the special effects make it worth it for me.I recently discovered magnetic ILNP polishes, and those will be my next investment!

One of the best nail polishes I’ve ever tried
I never heard of this brand until my mom randomly bought me a bottle. Ended up loving it and bought a bunch of other colors for myself later. It’s every bit as good as any of the salon brands that start with “O“, if not better. Last longer, too. The last time I used this polish, I went an entire six days without a single chip anywhere. It’s not too thin or too thick, and the brush is nice and small for my small nails. Every color I’ve purchased is gorgeous and looks high quality.

Beautiful color
Birthday Suit was the first shade of ILNP that I tried. I absolutely loved the color and I loved that it didn't wear at my tips like my usual polish does. This shade is a beautiful pink, very light pink, however, you definitely notice that it's pink, and it most definitely covers your nails, including the white aspect of the nails. It's not too sheer that it appears as if you're wearing just a hint of color. I loved the color so much, that after a week I removed and reapplied. That time I wasn't able to get to my next at home manicure for a week and a half. The color had worn off only on 1 index finger! This is my absolute favorite color of the ILNP colors that I have bought so far. That number stands at 16 thus far. If you're wondering about ordering this brand, please don't. It's a really fantastic brand. My only wish is that they'd come out with cream shades, instead of all the glitter filled shades. Some is fine (fantastic really!), but doing my nails weekly in glitter isn't for me. I'm past the age of 60 🥴, so that plays a huge role in this...lol

Gorgeous color
At first I thought this nail polish would be too dark, so I tried to return it. Apparently flammable liquid can't be returned by mail, not withstanding the fact that I got it by mail -- so I kept it and used it. The purple color is beautiful but in the sun, it shiny blue and purple, really really pretty., Love it. The only problem is that it starts wearing off the next day after I've washed my hands 1,000 times. I'm changing it out today and don't know how easy it will be to remove.
