These are lovely candle lights in a perspex enclosure which is much safer than the glass versions, they come with 2 sets of remote controls to operate power and timer settings so you always have a spare on hand. The candles each take 2 AA batteries and work best with rechargeable lithium batteries easily available from Amazon, however NiMH also work wello. These are a great price and a great buy, I highly recommend them to anyone wanting extremely authentic, safe flame effect candles.

I was impressed by the reviews for these candles and wanted candles on my mantlepiece without the fire risk. I bought tow packs of three - six candles in total. When I got these initially, I was not impressed when I unpacked them as they looked tacky however upon taking the plastic wrapping off each individual candle and putting batteries in them they look so good! I am truely impressed! My teenage kids were totally fooled and thought they were real. I love the timer setting and the remote control. They feel waxy like real candles and the flickering flame adds to the realistic appearance. Great for adding to my Christmas garland without the worry of fire and generally an all year round addition to add a cosy feel to your home.

Amazingly realistic! These fake candles look so real. They flicker and give off a subtle glow that would fool most people. The surface has a realistic wax finish.

Provide a nice bit of ambience to any room. Take 2 AA batteries in each candle but they seem to last long enough. Not sure the remote does anything except turn the candles on or off. The other settings don't seem to work but not that big a deal. They flicker gently like a lit wax candle.

The media could not be loaded. These are a superb set of candles! I purchased them for Christmas but cracked them out early due to a 12-hour power cut. I love them! Yes, of course if you look close up you can see they’re fake, but from any sort of distance they look so realistic.I had also purchased a trio of flickering candles from a high street store, but while that set flicker, they kind of ‘reset’ every 4th flicker (flicker, flicker, flicker, twitch) which I find slightly annoying. These don’t. They just merrily dance away. I love them and have already purchased a second set!The beauty with all faux candles is that you can safely place them wherever, without any safety fears.

I love love love these! They are amazing, you just can't tell them from real candles. I was always worried about using real ones incase I forget about them. My son is a firefighter and attends lots of fires started by candles. These are perfect. They make the room look so cosy and turn on and off automatically.

These are very life-like and create a good impression of real candles without the danger. A good purchase...I hope the batteries last a long time.
