Does not work, unit lights up but there is no signal coming out. I can see there is the light from the PC optical cable running into it and we had used it on a surround sound so I know that signal is good, also the aux input I have the output definitely works. Tried both a USB jack to power it and a USB power adapter. Everything appears to light up correct but just no sound. Will check it on another device I have with optical outputput but have a feeling this will end up being returned as it does not seem to work.

Product delivers good sound for about 5 seconds, but then starts to static really loudly. Checked all connections to ensure they were properly hooked up.

Makes a hammering static noise when hooked to tv. Maybe due to using 5v usb power source?

Converts the audio from my Blu-ray player with no problem. My Blu-ray's USB port supplies enough power to run it.

Junk, They actually cover the opening where the switch that is supposed to be that lets you select from coaxial input to tosink with a "Made in china" sticker. So there is no selector switch!!!! It was the lowest priced on Amazon and I see why. Buyer beware! This does not work but the icing n the cake is there awesome job of covering up the design flaw where the missing switch should be with a made in china sticker!

This came in handy, i had just purchased an older television set at our salvation army and i needed this to HOOK up my video interference recorder, love i didnt have to shop all over trying to locate this!
