Does what is supposed to do, too early to tell if it will tarnish. Arrived on time with packaging intact. The measuring equivalents being on the gadget is a plus plus.

I just got into baking and decided to start with the easiest of all breads to make... sour dough (For those of you not in the know, I am being sarcastic).I wanted to feel like a pro before knowing what I was doing. I had to have a wooden handle, none of the plastic stuff and the all metal stuff was not appealing to me. I feel like a wooden handle with a steel blade was perfect for that artisan feel. The quality is very sturdy and I really like the measurement conversions etched into the one side of the blade. Very pro feeling and looking. And for the price, getting two is a steal.

Perfect size light weight.. bought for work and it has made cleaning easier..fits perfectly in my hand for easy use and is very sharp to scrape tough spots
