It’s a great replacement for when your toddler decides to chew holes in the original one.

I tried one of the cheaper knock versions first. Unfortunately I went on a hike with that one and you had to bite super hard and could barely get any water out. Not great when you’re huffing and puffing at the top of a mountain and needing water fast. I hadn’t even finished the hike before I went on Amazon to buy this one. It came a few days later and works just like the original. Quick easy water access, no weird taste, no dripping, no intensely hard bit required just a little pressure. Camelbak quality, there really is no comparison, I’ve had my same backpack for 15 years, same bladder, same tubing just needed a new mouthpiece because my toddler bit through it otherwise I know it would have been going strong too. If you’re considering just get it. It’s worth it.

I ordered two valves. One leaked a bit, so I had it replaced and new one seems to be working fine. Easy to remove old valves and reinstall. Overall appears to be a quality product.

Ive Always liked CamelBak products. I haven't installed this yet. I bought it to replace my really old one, since it's been leaking on my rides and the last straw was on my last ride, when I forgot to close the valve and half of my CamelBak bladder emptied into my seat and carpet.

This fit perfectly on my drinking tube from my water pack. Previously my bite valve leaked and dripped on my shorts, etc. Buy a good qualityvalve and keep your pack going for another 10 years!

My son bit through his mouthpiece in his water backpack and I was worried we'd have to buy a whole new bladder but this replacement fit on perfect. So glad I found it! Hopefully it will last for a while.
