I don't understand the bad/mediocre reviews of this lure. We caught a huge Peacock bass on the 2nd cast. Someone also said it doesn't cast well. This person is probably using anchor chain as fishing line or something. We use 16 lb test, and this thing flies out a good 100 feet or more. Can't say exactly how far, but it disappears into the distance. It wiggles like a real fish would swim, which really attracts the big predators. We caught a snag after an hour or so. We waded out in waist-deep murky water and rescued it. That's saying a lot here in Florida, where gators are as common as houseflies! Great lure!

Okay, I buy off Amazon all the time but this is my first review. It has been awhile since I fished and I bought some new tackle including this lure. My first cast had a hit and my second had a nice Bass. Got it out of the water and just as I am going to grab the bass, (guessing about a 3 lb) he snapped my line and took my new lure. I looked for him to spit it out and hoped I see it in the water but I didn't. I ordered a second one. I changed to a Zebco 888 and 25 lb test line, (I know that sounds a little crazy bass fishing wit a Zebco 888 but I love the distance I can cast with it and I fish off a dock at a private lake, no boat.) and on my third cast this one caught a nice 24" Bass see pics. I did not weight it but at this size It speaks for itself. Love this lure. I have caught several fish that I thought should have looked for smaller bait. I like this lure and so do the Bass!!! I caught several more but nothing so nice as my first. I did take one other photo.

So haven't caught anything with it yet, but I've only just got it and have only used it once. I love the colors. It swims beautifully however and so lifelike. For a basic description, for newbies like me, it floats on the water when not in motion, and will swim and dive downward quickly if reeled in quick. If you just slowly reel it in, it'll keep at a level depth.Overall, it's a great price, and I love the look and movement of this lure. I have already bought one for my younger brother as well.

5 th cast this thing works

Baits looked nice when I pulled them from the package. Tied one on one of my fishing poles and went out to the farm pond. First cast the bait seemed to pull to the right when reeling in, and tended to do that to some degree all casts. Third cast caught a small bass, then next cast caught a big bass that broke my line after a couple minutes fight. Tied a second bait on and caught another 6 pound bass on second cast. This bait also pulled and tracked to the right. I caught 5 more smaller bass within a half hour. These seem to mimic bluegill quite well. Happy with it even not tracking straight.

Happy to say that the first time i used this lure i caught a 3.5 pound bass. A lot of the lures i buy for this price end up breaking or snapping when the fish bites on, this one didnt and still hasnt. The past 5 days ive been fishing using nothing else but this lure and it has shown the best results for me compared to any other artificial baits and lures. The movement in the water of this lure looks extremely realistic and looks like a real fishing swimming through the water. Definitely a great product and i would 100% buy from them again.

Good bang for your buck! I bought this basically because the price of it was so cheap. It’s a little strange that it’s shaped like a blue hill but colored like a rainbow trout lol. It works though! Two northern pike on 5 cast. The treble hooks are kind of cheap and bent on me so I replaced them with mustads and went with size 4. Overall I think this is a solid lure that you can have fun with and catch fish on.

This is a fun lure. It’s very lifelike. I bought two during a sale. One for my friend and one for me. We used them last week and good bites. They cast pretty nicely from a kayak. The Bass weren’t biting but the pike were, and they held up. It did break a fin tip from closing my tackle box wrong or something but otherwise no scratches and it’s fun to watch.

First impressions only, but I like it, even though the shape is a little unusual. It is about 10 cm long and about 4 cm high, which seems to be odd proportions to me...I will update after use.
