Great Value. And They're Purple!
I got three purple ones. I have two cats. They are stylin'. Good value here. Probably important for your cat!I can't speak to effectiveness, as I am not a flea, but as soon as I see a critter crawlin' on my pooch or my cats, it's time to apply the collar. I've used Seresto and the expensive ones. Once a vet cut a Seresto collar right off my dog (maximum disrespect) with a hug pair of veterinarian scissors, after I paid almost a hundred dollars for it. The dog ended up dying of cancer within a few days. These collars are important, but getting a vet you can trust is more important. That dude, who was barely old enough to be a vet, and his trusty sidekick dressed as a nurse, were only there to sell me Frontline (Westerly Animal Hospital, Westerly RI - Avoid). Somehow they cast a spell on me, and instead of reporting them to the police for being extremely incompetent, I left with a bag full of their product. Pure guilt, as the dog was suffering! I do wish you the best with your pets. My current herd is healthy, and we are all looking forward to a great summer!

Lightweight collars that really help
My cats have always been indoor cats, but my dog still manages to bring in fleas now and then. I use other things to keep them under control, but these Hartz UltraGuard collars really help. They’re lightweight, don’t bother the cats, and give me extra peace of mind.

The Royal Anti-Parasite Medallion of Her Majesty, The Overlord
When you serve a being as powerful and vengeful as Lady Whiskerstein von Murderpaws III, your duty is not to question—only to protect. She is queen of the window perch, destroyer of blinds, and sworn enemy of all who crawl. So when a single flea dared cross the borders of her fur kingdom, I knew war was upon us.I armed her with the Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar. This is not just a collar. This is a divine talisman, a shimmering white circle of pest repelling vengeance. The moment I fastened it around her neck (and narrowly avoided losing a finger), she looked into the mirror, blinked slowly, and nodded. The collar had been accepted. Now she struts the house like a battle-hardened warlord—fragrant with mild citrus and justice. No flea survives. No tick dares. And the peasants (us) are finally allowed to pet her again—if she’s feeling generous.Bonus: It's adjustable, durable, and doesn’t interfere with her dramatic lounging poses or 3AM hallway gallops.Bottom line: If your cat is less "pet" and more "ancient god trapped in a meatloaf body," this is the collar for them. Protect your ruler. Repel their enemies. Restore order.Long live the Queen. Pest-free and still terrifying.

Happy kittys.
The cats have been flea free. It's nice to see them not scratching at flea bites. And also no fleas in the house. Im happy. And the kittys are happy.

Caused both of my cats severe hair loss and health problems in five days!
This review is for the specific product that I purchased, Hartz UltraGuard Flea & Tick Collar for Cats and Kittens. My complaint is with the product itself and not Amazon. I bought these collars for both of my cats and both of my dogs as a preventative measure. None of them showed signs of fleas or ticks but we have recently moved to a new state where there are stray cats out and about, along with a lot of other insects that were not at our old home and state. Both of my cats are inside cats, trained to be on leashes, walk, sleep and typically stay near us. However, we bought them because I do take my dogs outside and we feared our dogs catching fleas and bringing them into our cats.I purchased them on August 30, 2022 and received them on September 1, 2022. I put them on all of my animals as the package instructed. I left enough room for 1-2 fingers to fit under the collar to ensure they weren't too tight. In the few days after, we noticed that the cats had strong, foul smelling feces. More than usual. One of my cats vomited a few times but we didn't think much of it. Maybe the cats ate something when we didn't see them or something like that. I never thought that the collar would be the culprit (I still don't know if it is but it's a big coincidence). Until today, September 6, 2022. My cats came to lay with me and I noticed one had a large bald spot near his neck. The hair wasn't thin or thinning, it was completely bald. I then moved the collar and saw that it was completely bald under where the collar was. Additionally, parts of it were extremely red and raw while other parts looked dry like skin was flaking off. I checked the other cat and it was the same thing only not as bad. The hair underneath the collar of my other cat was gone as well but the skin didn't look as bad. I immediately removed the collars and wrote Hartz. I received an email very quickly from them which is a plus I guess. I called the number in the email and eventually spoke to a poison control center that they forwarded me to. They in turn said that they share my report and finding not only with the company Hartz, but a report will be generated to the Environmental Protection Agency. My dogs seem ok but I will remove the collars from them too as a precaution. The poison control center gave me a direct number to reach them at 24/7 in case anything else develops or doesn't get better. Unfortunately as stated above, I just moved to a new state with my family, tens of thousands of dollars to attend an internship at a hospital here that is unpaid so, not only do I not have veterinarian here, I currently don't have the funds for that. The lady at the poison control center said that if I had to go the veterinarian, I would have to pay and then contact Hartz and they may be able to help me with the costs. All I can do now is hope that my cats get better. When asked about recovery, the lady at the poison control center said that depending on the cats, it could take weeks, up to years for their hair to grow back if it does at all. This is frustrating because not only did I pay a lot of money for my cats, having them flown in from another country, but because we love them as part of our family. Buyer beware with this product and I hope none of you have this issue. Oh, FYI my cats are pure bread Oriental Shorthair so I don't know if it's a breed specific thing or what. Hope this helps someone.

Doesn't work or last as long as some other flea collars!
Doesn't work as well as some of the other products available. My cat has come home with a few flea friends on him while wearing this collar.

Resting soundly
I've got an indoor cat and an outdoor cat. They both seem to be licking themselves a lot. I thought it might be please. I put a car on each of them and their rest and quiet quietly I was surprised.

Works!
I had three kittens show up and they had fleas! I bath them! Than put these colors on, the next day I didn’t see no more fleas! Works great!
